What an encouragement to us to be witnesses for Christ among the lost! Our chief aim should be to be so filled with joy and pleasure in what our Lord offers us that others can't help but desire to know this God we serve. The most obvious ministry to the lost I think of is my little ones. I know I make mistakes as a mom and often show impatience and pride but I pray my children will be drawn to Christ most of all because they see a real, intimate, fruitful life of love to my Savior. Are your little ones and those God has given you opportunity to witness to seeing joy from communion with Christ and a life filled with fruit and happiness?

What an awesome reminder. Sometimes in the day-to-day grind it is easy to lose focus on this core purpose as a parent and child of God. Thanks for the reminder!

Miranda-
Casey Chappell told me to check out your blog. I have had SOOOO many people ask me if i knew you guys, but we have never had the chance to meet. I am thrilled to see your blog and your sweet family of 3. we have two boys as well and are hoping to get our daughter in May (I pray!!!!). I would love to talk- you were in ET at a very crucial time in our little girl's life. It almost made me cry as i read your posts from that time.
feel free to email me and we could set up a time to talk!
Blessings to you and your precious family!

Funny how sometimes the dead guys have such an impact on parenting even though one would never imagine that it would occur! I cannot explain how many of the puritans have impacted my parenting even more then some parenting books have.
Glad to know I can visit here again ;)! I think you should just start a completely new blog and leave this one as a reference and link it on the new one, just let it be what it is! Good idea right? Except a lot of work!
Great talking to you on the phone, excited maybe it will be in person in 6 weeks. Maybe...
Love you all!

Hi Miranda! How are you guys?
I just had a question about the package we sent with you guys for Tigist. Did you guys give it to Tafesse or Travis and Joanna? I got an email from Joanna saying Tigist went to the office asking for her package and they didn't know anything about it. I was just wondering if perhaps Tafesse had it. Thanks!
Hello Sista,

Miranda,
It looks like you might attend a Sovereign Grace Church and live in North Carolina. I am so curious to know if I could email you. My name is Kelly Jacoby and we are adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia, while already having 2 of our own. Sounds similar, right? We live in Chesapeake, VA and attend SGC there. I'd love to ask you some questions or talk sometime if you don't mind. Thanks and praise the Lord for the way you bring Him glory in your blog.
