We celebrated Felicity turning 1 yesterday! It was so sweet to celebrate her life and think on all the Lord has done for us. It felt like such an honor to be the one rejoicing over her being in our home and this huge milestone of being 1 yr. old! She can't even know how loved she is or how much we desire that God get the glory for her life but our prayer is that as we continue to celebrate many birthdays this will become more and more clear to her.
Her birthday also made me think about how if she was not in our home she most likely would have had no celebration at all and yet now WE get to bless her and see this precious child, made in God's image, turning 1!

What great photos!!! :) Thanks for sharing. Yeah, these mile stones sure being up the emotion, huh?! We found out about Arsema right after she turned 12 months and that was one of my first thoughts ... no birthday celebration. Lord willing, we'll arrive home with her just before her big brother's birthday ... so we're thinking there will be a whole lotta celebrating going on! :) Blessings~ Shelly

Wow, she kept the binki in her mouth long enough for a picture? I still think she is just too cute! Those boys that are looming in the future! I will pray for her like my own little men! I bet Paul's parents were glad to be able to celebrate you all!!
