We're comin' for you little one!
I am sitting here typing this post with a smile on my face. We heard from Gladney today and I am happy to say things will be just fine (Lord-willing) to go get our sweet one in Ethiopia. Gladney submitted our names, along with the other families that these new standards might effect, and asked that they would allow us to continue in the process, my email quotes: "MOWA (Ministry of Women's Affairs) was pleased with Gladney’s concern for our families already in the adoption process and has told Belay, Gladney’s in-country representative, that they will honor all of our families who have already started the process. We are thrilled to share this news with you! " Oh what a joy it was for us to read those words. We feel like we are back on track whole heartedly able to pursue things, and with new ferver knowing God is continuing to lead us in this direction. May God get all the glory for each step - even this speedbump - and use it to make us trust more in him! We're comin for you little one!

Congrats! I am glad to hear all is well. Where are you guys now in the process? Have you finished your homesudy and/or your dossier? We have had some hang ups with notaries, but hope to have everything but FBI and two other things off to KBS by Friday. What is your timeline looking like? Still shooting for Nov.? We were told yesterday 3-6 mos. for a referral! Hoping this was just a conservative est., but none the less we know there is a perfect little boy for our family out there and we will get him in God's timing. Hope to talk to you soon.

Hey sweetie, congratulations!! I am so happy to hear this news. We were really praying this would happen. We are all in this boat just trusting and waiting on the LORD. Isn't it just so sweet to have each other to lean on and understand this rollercoaster ride of emotions, discernment, and wonder!! I look so forward to the day when we all have our babies together to celebrate bdays, etc. What a joy it will be!!

Another thing, I just want to tell you I so enjoy your blog. You are such an encouragement for thirsting and seeking after the LORD> You have such interesting books, etc. I love your photos and creativity and the things you talk about. YOU ARE JUST MARVELOUS MIRANDA!! I can just imagine what an awesome woman of the word and warrior for Christ you will be when your my age! You are such a joy and encouragement wise and whitty.
